And it's a Friday!!!!

And I think spring is here. i swear that the bulbs are coming out and one set will flower....soonish that is.

i guess that’s why i thought of spring.....Of course, since it’s a friday and it’s a nice spring day outside, i’m having a hard time concentrating on work. oh well, it is a Friday. i did get some stuff done.

Speaking of spring, we recently signed up for a CSA that i’m sort of excited about. Rise and Shine Farm is located out in fallon, so it makes it pretty much local. what i’m excited about it is the fact that they limit their membership. According to their blog, they are doing so after a hard lesson learned. thus, i’m also hoping that they will have more goodness in them. it’ll be a new thing for us this year, as part of the package we signed up for, we get eggs and chickens. crazy! hopefully they are yummy.

Now i’m starting to dream of the foods that will come this summer. i’ve been collecting salsa recipes and jam recipes. along with the canning of plain tomatoes, i think i want to try to make jam. we’ll see how that goes, eh?
